  • You have good sleep.
  • You awaken early, refreshed, and in eager anticipation of the day.
  • Your appetite is for wholesome, freshly prepared meals.
  • You are well-hydrated and your digestion is easy and regular.
  • Your weight is evenly distributed.
  • You are at peace in your mind and you perform meaningful work that brings you joy.
  • Your relationships are gratifying and fulfilling.

Do you feel out of balance?

Have you experienced stress-related health concerns such as anxiety, depression, irritability, sleep issues, digestive problems, muscle, or joint pain?

What about physical expressions of distress such as high blood pressure, headaches, insomnia, weight gain, or habits you wish you didn’t have?

Everyday living provides us with multiple opportunities to engage in activities that contribute to unhappiness and stress.

Despite the desire to be happy and achieve contentment, we often choose to repeat the same patterns that lead to a compounding of stressful responses.  It seems like an endless cycle.

If you mindfully practice healthy habits, listen to your inner intelligence, and observe the rhythms of nature, the result will be health in abundance!

Preventative care includes a proper diet (for your body type) and will create a state of ease in your body-mind that leads to wellness.

The Wisdom of Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient healing system that utilizes an integrated approach to attaining and maintaining health.  Every one of us has a fundamental make-up that constitutes our basic nature.

When our lives become out of balance, we have unwelcome tendencies that can be corrected through various means such as diet, movement, spending time in nature, and other stress-reducing activities.  In some cases, herbal remedies can be helpful in restoring balance.

Ayurveda literally means science or wisdom of life.

How does it work?

The integrated approach of Ayurveda steers us toward a more contented life!

At first glance, contentment may not seem that glamorous or exciting, but please read on!

Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda together help you learn to pay attention to the signals your body is telling you when you are out of balance.

  • Yoga provides for balance, stability, and flexibility in your body and mind.
  • Meditation stills the mind-chatter and allows the mind to rest periodically.
  • Ayurveda incorporates daily and seasonal rhythms to bring harmony and health into your life.

Ayurveda is for everyone seeking a simple, direct route to a healthier, happier life based on natural principles.
